Lewis & Clark College is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive community, and offers financial aid to international students who would not otherwise have the resources to enroll. The university provides a range of merit scholarships and financial aid based on need. Lewis University is a private Roman Catholic and Lasallian university in Romeoville, Illinois, that ranks 19th in regional universities in the Midwest. It is renowned for its liberal learning and academic excellence, and students can receive a private education at Lewis University for less than the cost of a state or public university.
The university offers more than 80 undergraduate programs, 37 graduate programs and 2 doctoral programs. International students are automatically considered for financial aid when submitting an application. There are no “full cost” financial aid awards available, with the exception of applicants to United World Colleges. For more information on the scholarship application process and deadlines, visit the university's scholarship webpage.
Current Lewis students and alumni can nominate their friends and family for an additional scholarship. Students can also check local job listings on websites such as Indeed and LinkedIn or in newspapers or other job portals for internships, part-time and full-time jobs. While students can apply for financial aid at any time of the year, funds are rarely available after decisions are made in April. Only rarely does Lewis & Clark decrease an award, such as when it comes to fraud, when upward adjustments in household income are reported, when there is evidence that there is less need for the declared one or when students do not work.
